Meet Donna Metta Jordan, MA, LPC
Empowerment Coach and Licensed Therapist for women on their path to motherhood
LET’S FACE IT:
Being a woman in today’s world is hard.
You’re constantly pulled in a million different directions and, despite how much society loves to talk about “self care,” actually practicing it? It feels impossible.
You’re in the right place.

I am here to help you grow in self-compassion, heal old wounds, and create the kind of awareness that leads to real change.
Am I the right therapist for you?
Maybe you’ve been to therapy before and felt like you just talked around and around, never getting to the core issue.
Our work together is different.
It’s more than just skills. It’s understanding.
It’s different than just staying in the mind. It’s going into the body.
It’s not just about knowing. It’s about being.

I want to offer you a space that feels separate from the chaos of your life and motherhood: a place where you can rest, breathe, and find yourself again.
I show up with the belief that you are already a strong, resilient woman who may just need some additional skills, support, and insight to get back in touch with all the parts of yourself.

I’m committed to providing a space where you feel…
Listened to
Not just for your words, but for the emotions behind them.
Supported
Like there’s someone in your corner, cheering you on when it’s difficult to move forward.
Truly seen
Without judgment and by someone who really “gets” it.
Grounded
Getting back in touch with yourself and what you need.

MORE ABOUT ME
Why I do what I do…
I am a mom of wonderful children who are now 17 and 19 years old. Our fertility, prenatal, birth, postpartum and parenting path was not what I ever anticipated, even after learning all that I had professionally. What has come through it, though, has been amazing.
I was adopted when I was a child and have had the honor of welcoming stepchildren into my life, along with two biological children, over the past 20 years. Blended families have been embedded in my own journey for as long as I’ve been alive!
What I learned throughout my own path of parenthood has been invaluable and allows me to empathize with my clients in ways that I never would have been able to otherwise. Not only has it made me a better woman and mother, but it has also made me a more astute empowerment coach for moms. As everyone is going through their own unique experience, clients have found it helpful to know that they have a coach who truly understands many nuances of their journey along the way.
One of the many practices we discuss in therapy is the importance of restorative self-care. We cannot give to others from an empty vessel. For me, exercising, contemplative, and meditative practices are my regeneration when I feel depleted and need to unwind. Reading a book, creating arts and crafts, being in nature, going to the gym, listening to music, wind therapy on a motorcycle ride, and spending quality time with my family are some of the things that rejuvenate me!
Donna J Coaching
In addition to Weaving the Wisdom’s path to motherhood coaching services, Donna also offers a coaching collective program for M.O.M.s (Moms of “More”) who are navigating their mothering path with children who are on the continuum of neurodiversity, emotional and mental health concerns, and other medical needs.
